With the push of a button, you can transfer Full HD video from the SD/SDHC card or hard drive to the BD drive and burn entire movies to Blu-ray Disc, all within the camcorder. No PC is necessary! Recorded discs play on most Blu-ray Disc players. Editing functions such as split, splice, delete, merge and transitions can also be performed within the camcorder on the built-in Hard Disk Drive before dubbing for added convenience. The Transcoding feature allows you to select Full HD video stored on the Hard Disk Drive/SD/SDHC to be transferred to standard definition DVD copies using the 1-touch dubbing feature. This allows you to share videos with friends and family who do not yet own a Blu-ray Disc player.
You can convert your Full HD recordings down to standard definition and store them on three types of DVDs (8cm DVD-R/-RW/-RAM) for easier editing and better compatibility when sharing your memories.
