The IPS Panel on Ultra Thin LCD Series greatly enhances brightness and clarity to offer significantly less trail and fuzziness for moving images. Vertical and horizontal viewing angles of 178 degree maintain natural colors and are suitable for watching TV with family and friends.
Hitachi's newly developed LSI uses a unique algorithm to convert 60 frames per second motion to 120 frames per second. It delivers crisp, clear images in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal action. The result is less blurring on fast action, which creates a smoother, more lifelike picture.

Movies are created with 24 frames per second. When converted to a TV signal, viewers sometimes see a troublesome visual effect called judder, which is especially noticeable when the picture makes sweeping, side-to-side movements.

Hitachi's FRC features a technique that accurately and automatically eliminates judder by creating interpolated frames based on the original film images. The FRC is translated into a format suitable for television, cleverly creating missing frames and then introducing them seamlessly into the running footage. It smoothes out the movement and correctly matches the original motion.
Hitachi's Picture Master Full HD enhanced high-resolution image processor analyzes and processes images at high speed to produce an excellent "real world" contrast ratio. Not only are colors reproduced with greater realism and clarity, but also their differences are highlighted more naturally. The Picture Master Full HD provides state-of-the-art picture quality.
Advanced Dynamic Contrast analyzes every picture that appears on the screen and optimizes its contrast frame by frame.

3D Color Management adjusts the three constituent components of color (hue, saturation, and brightness) pixel by pixel using 3D data.

Advanced Dynamic Enhancer expresses images that are simultaneously detailed and dynamic, and controls detail, gradation and sharp edges. In addition, Hitachi added a circuit to enhance the crispness of visuals and capture subtle details such as skin texture and mountain ridges. This reduces the grainy effect and brings out the natural beauty of the image.

30- and 36-bit Deep Color Signal Input Compatibility provides superior color reproduction compared to the conventional color depth of 24-bit input, producing richer gradation and smoother color.
